Herbal Drink: Mountain Begonia
Slightly bitter-sweet and slightly sour, the herbal drink made from Mountain begonia, water and rock sugar releases heat, detoxes and quenches your thirst. The purplish herbal drink can be seen in different corners of Tai O. It’s the perfect cooling beverage on a hot summer day.
Alongside chrysanthemum tea with luohanguo (monk fruit), silky smooth wooden barrel tofu pudding and soy milk, the purplish herbal drink of mountain begonia is signature refreshment from Chun Chun Snack. The shop also sells pickled lemons and made-to-order grilled squids. You are guaranteed to enjoy the refreshing health drinks in summer!
