Take a ride on the Ngong Ping cable car. You will be travelling from downtown Tung Chung to another side of Hong Kong, where you can experience the tranquility brought about by nature.

Wisdom Path

It takes only 20 minutes to walk from Ngong Ping Village to the Wisdom Path. The 38 giant wood columns erected here are inscribed with the verses of the Heart Sutra, written by renowned Sinologist Professor Jao Tsung-I. Get enlightened about life right here!

MEOW is a café in Tai O. Its owner is a cat lover. The café has not only adopted stray cats as mascots, but also raises money to support volunteering groups that protect stray cats in Tai O. It also collaborates with local designers and offer cat-themed souvenirs.

Tai O Street Snacks

You can find an array of small shops in Kat Hing Street in Tai O, offering local Hong Kong snacks such as egg puffs, husband rolls, tofu pudding and chaguo rice dumplings. Dig in and as you appreciate the fishing village views with unique stilt houses of Tai O.

Sunset at Fu Shan

Before the sun goes down, walk up the easy Fu Shan Hiking Trail for some stunning sunset pictures at Fu Shan bridge.
