YHA Ngong Ping SG Davis Youth Hostel is the only Ngong Ping venue that provides both accommodation and camping service. It is minutes away from an array of Lantau tourist spots such as the Big Buddha, Po Lin Monastery and the Wisdom Path.
Formerly the outdoor education centre of the Department of Geography and Geology of the University of Hong Kong, the hostel is peaceful and tranquil. It offers you an option to rejuvenate in nature. Tourists can enjoy the various vegetarian meals and Chinese delicacies offered by nearby monasteries. It is also a popular choice to stay in Lantau if you are interested in watching the sun rise from Lantau Peak, or meditate in the depths of the mountains.

From Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal (Exit B of Tung Chung MTR station), take a 25-minute cable car ride to Ngong Ping. The hostel is a 15-minute walk away from the terminal. |
